23 September 11am -12pm AEST - Investing in the empowerment of indigenous communities
The financial services sector interacts with the First Peoples of Australia in many ways. As such, finance has an important role to constructively support Indigenous Australians' empowerment and leadership. Join our panel of experts who, with deep knowledge and experience, will unpack the role of finance and responsible investment and provide insights to strengthen our sectors' contribution to Indigenous empowerment and leadership. Off the back of recent revelations that Indigenous communities' rights and heritage continue to be disregarded, this session is part of RIAA's continuing conversation on First Nations Peoples' rights; at a time when it is more important than ever to understand the role of finance in removing systemic racism and supporting greater equity and justice.
