Increasing numbers of investors are integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their impact management and reporting. But challenges often remain in extending beyond alignment to more meaningful engagement.
With no shortages of significant global challenges – from growing food insecurity to deterioration of the natural environment to pervasive inequalities – investors have a critical role to play in financing and meaningfully helping to address the SDGs.
This IMMCOP workshop will unpack different frameworks, tools and approaches for investors to navigate how companies and investment portfolios are planning and performing with regards to the SDGs. Presentations will be interspersed with group discussions around the pros and cons of different approaches with investors sharing their experiences.
