In 2021, responsible investment has gone mainstream, becoming a foundation of good investment practice. No longer just 'bells and whistles', it is now essential to managing risk, seizing opportunity and maximising performance.

Hosted by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA), RI Aotearoa New Zealand 2021 will bring together responsible, ethical and impact investors to shine a light on the pathways and opportunities for a sustainable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and a resilient economy aligned with the Paris Agreement and the SDGs.

Some highlights from the programme include:

  • Diversity – it's about more than just gender
  • How will the first wave of action from the Sustainable Finance Roadmap shape NZ's financial system?
  • Financing the transformation
  • Impact investment – insights into place-based investing
  • Data and disclosures – briefings from regulators and standard setters
  • Meeting our obligations for TCFD reporting
  • Financial adviser round table – navigating a client interview process
  • Executive reflections on how embracing sustainability into leadership, strategy and culture is driving value
