What is the relationship between nature and climate and what are the implications for investors? RIAA's Nature Working Group is pleased to host a 30-minute lunchtime presentation for all members with Liam Walsh, the Food, Land and Oceans System Lead at ClimateWorks to unpack this issue. During this presentation members will also be introduced to ClimateWorks' Natural Capital Investment Initiative.

Liam's presentation will be followed by the final Nature Working Group for 2021, which all members are invited to attend. Our meeting will include the latest updates from the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures and the Aotearoa New Zealand Government.

We will also discuss the progress of the Working Group and its four sub-groups, including opportunities to get involved. The four sub-groups are:

  • Awareness and Education for Investors
  • Nature-related Risks and Exposures
  • Activating Nature-related Investment Opportunities
  • Strategy and Systems
