Julia Bailey is Head of Advocacy Strategy and a Senior Research Analyst at Melior. She has 17 years’ experience working as both a sell and buy side analyst across a number of sectors at global investment banks and leading fund managers in the UK and Australia. Julia joined Melior in 2018 and has been involved in developing their impact measurement, gender lens, ESG and advocacy frameworks, and actively engages with ASX300 company senior management teams. Julia received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (1st Class Honours) with specialisation in Parasitology from King’s College London.

Alan is Managing Principal of Point Advisory’s NSW office based in Sydney. He oversees the firm’s integrated advisory solutions in corporate responsibility and sustainability, including environmental, social and governance risk. With over 25 years of industry and professional services experience, he takes a pragmatic approach to integrating sustainability strategies and risk management into organisations. He works with investors to strengthen their chosen ESG integration and reporting approaches. Alan chairs RIAA’s First Nations Peoples’ Rights Working Group that he helped establish during mid-2020 in the wake of the destruction of shelters at Juukan Gorge and the global Black Lives Matter movement

Josh is often the first point of contact for members and he provides support on many areas of RIAA's work plan, in particular working closely with RIAA’s financial adviser members. Josh holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws and a Diploma in Financial Planning.

Jonathan Kneebone is an experienced lawyer, advocate, strategist and systems entrepreneur with a deep understanding of policy, legal, financial and economic systems. Jonathan has over 20 years’ experience establishing and enabling collaborations, fixing entrenched and extractive systems, and advocating for an inclusive and regenerative economy that privileges and incorporates First Nations people, knowledge, views and experiences. Jonathan has worked in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-controlled organisations and alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities across Australia. Jonathan has led an array of significant commercial negotiations, major projects, and test cases on behalf of Traditional Owners, and has worked closely on economic development and economic inclusion policies and projects. Jonathan is a Senior Fellow with the Atlantic Fellows for Social Equity, holds an Arts and Honours degree in Law from the University of Melbourne, a Masters of Laws from the University of Dundee (and was awarded the Laszlo Gombos Prize as the top-ranking LLM student), and is a board member of several organisations working respectively in the fields of mental health, the arts and community economic development. Prior to joining the First Nations Clean Energy Network Jonathan worked in the private sector with an organisation pioneering the growth of a circular and regenerative cleantech business.

As an Authorised Representative of Ethical Investment Advisers, Karen McLeod holds the highest level of accreditation in Australia as a Certified Financial Planner TM (CFP). She also holds a Bachelor of Business (with Distinction). She is accredited by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) as a Certified Financial Adviser. Karen has served 6 years as a Board Member of RIAA and to the RIAA Certification Committee. Additionally, Karen is a member of the Ethical Advisers’ Co-operative and served as the Chairperson in 2014. She is also a member of the peak industry association in Australia, the Financial Planning Association (FPA). In 2009, the Australian Financial Review’s ‘Smart Investor’ magazine awarded Karen McLeod a place in their Master Class Top 50 Honour Roll (Australia wide). This achievement is based on her technical expertise. She has loved running her own practice in Brisbane for over 12 years.
