Cassandra has over 20 years experience in the Financial Services sector. She has worked for researchers & gatekeepers, banks and fund managers.

Cassandra brings rich experience in reviews and ratings, based on her time as Director of Research at CANSTAR, where she launched and lead the now industry-standard 5 Star Ratings. She was appointed to ASIC’s Consumer Advisory Panel. Most recently Cassandra ran a FinTech start-up.

At RIAA, Cassandra leads our Certification and Ratings Program and will build out our consumer-facing content and resources.

Cassandra has a Bachelor of Business, MBA and Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.

ack is an experienced financial services professional with qualifications in sustainability from both Cambridge and Erasmus universities. In 2020 Jack joined Sustainable Platform to assist fund managers embrace the implementation of SDG data into their processes to better align sustainability factors with their stakeholders’ needs.

Jack has had a successful career in funds management in Sydney. He ran the advice, product and funds distribution businesses at Bankers Trust, Colonial First State and CBA and immediately prior to joining Sustainable Platform was an executive at UniSuper where he was responsible for their $15B financial advice business.

Erica is an experienced Responsible Investment and Sustainability Consultant, with over 25 years of experience. Erica specialises in integrating environmental and social factors into investment and business processes, thereby mitigating risks and enhancing opportunities. Erica believes in collaboratively developing practical solutions that create and protect long-term value and trust for all stakeholders.

Erica works across all elements of the investment value chain, from ESG policy and strategy, ESG due diligence (pre- and post-acquisition), stakeholder engagement and materiality, governance, ESG integration, environment, health and safety (EHS) management systems, compliance and assurance frameworks, and disclosure (reporting and assurance) (including more recently the requirements of the Taskforce for Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

Erica was co-secretariat and co-author of the Sustainable Finance Roadmap for New Zealand (January 2019 – November 2020) and is one of two New Zealand-based approved independent verifiers for RIAA's Investment Certification Programme.

Prior to joining RIAA Ryan worked for close to ten years in the banking and finance industry in a range of Senior Analytical roles. Ryan has also worked as a sustainability consultant and carbon emissions analyst.

Ryan recently completed his Master of Environment at University of Melbourne, specialising in Governance, Policy and Markets. His research examined Responsible Investment in Blue Carbon resources.

In addition to his Masters degree, Ryan holds a Diploma of Sustainability and Bachelor of Agribusiness. Ryan is also a community committee member for the Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) Australia and a member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand Inc.

Tom joins us as Certification Analyst. He is responsible for assessing applicants, ensuring timely delivery of certification outcomes and supporting our certification team.

Tom is a recent graduate in BSc (Psychology) and currently completing his Bachelor of Applied Finance at Macquarie University, with a strong interest in behavioural economics and consumer psychology. Tom also brings with him years of experience in forensics and a strong background in operations. Before RIAA, he worked at BDO and Ethinvest, Australia’s leading ethical financial planner. In his spare time Tom enjoys playing tennis, connecting with likeminded environmental professionals and spending time with family.
