Join us for the launch of this vital industry resource, RIAA's Investor Toolkit: An Investor Focus on Indigenous Peoples' Rights and Cultural Heritage Protection, an initiative of RIAA's Human Rights and First Nations Peoples' Rights working groups.

In the words of the First Nations Heritage Protection Alliance Co-Chairs:

"Being the custodians of capital gives investors a great opportunity and a responsibility to ensure that they support responsible engagement with First Nations People... This toolkit will help investors to navigate the issues, to better understand the risks and to contribute to the protection of First Nations cultural heritage."

RIAA will also launch its Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), which outlines RIAA's plan to support a reconciliation agenda across the responsible investment and sustainable finance industry, and to amplify the voices of First Nations peoples in our sector.

We will unpack these two resources with experts including:

  • Alan Dayeh, Chair of RIAA's First Nations People's Rights Working Group and Managing Principal at Point Advisory
  • Claire Heeps, Senior Responsible Investment Adviser at HESTA
  • Kado Muir, Co-Chair at First Nations Heritage Protection Alliance
  • Susheela Peres Da Costa, Chair of RIAA's Board and Head of Advisory at Regnan
  • Estelle Parker, Executive Manager, Programs at RIAA
