Enrico is the lead analyst for Asia-Pacific research, with a focus on Australian-listed companies over the past two years. His work includes company research and engagement, thematic research and thought leadership, as well as client advisory support. He is also involved in product innovation projects and contributed to the development of Sustainalytics’ flagship ESG Risk Rating. Enrico joined Sustainalytics in 2014 in Frankfurt, Germany, where he conducted research on the industrial, transportation and infrastructure sectors. Enrico is a member of the Human Rights Working Group of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia, as well as Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative’s Technical Working Group 3.
Morgan Ellis is a Senior ESG Research analyst producing ESG-related research content and maintaining rating models to help institutional investors identify, measure and manage investment risks and opportunities arising from material ESG issues. Morgan is the Industry lead for the Real Estate Developers, Construction Materials and Building Products industries. Additionally, he has worked on several projects on assessing company alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goals and redesigning MSCI’s ESG Rating model for Green Buildings.
Morgan has also authored several thematic research papers on Climate Change Transition Risks in Real Estate, Sustainable Impact in Australia; Carbon Regulatory Scenarios; Women on Boards; Physical Risk in Real Estate; and Climate Adaptation Investment.
Morgan joined MSCI in 2014 after spending eight years working as a consulting engineer working in sustainable building design and green buildings assessments in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Morgan received his Master’s degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University and his Bachelor’s degree in Photovoltaics and Solar Energy Engineering from UNSW.
As Head of Sustainable Investment, Asia Pacific, Helena is responsible for FTSE Russell’s Sustainable Investment indexes, and data services across the Asia Pacific region. A core part of her role is client engagement on a comprehensive range of products and data to support them in reaching their investment decisions. Working with research and leadership teams, she has a responsibility for developing FTSE Russell’s Asia Pacific Sustainable Investment product strategy and expansion.
Helena relocated to Hong Kong in 2014 from London - a key hub for ESG investments, where she worked for the responsible investment arm of Hermes Investment Management as global head of client relations, enabling pension funds and asset managers to integrate sustainability criteria into passive and active portfolios. Before joining FTSE Russell, Helena worked for a family office in Asia where her responsibilities as an investment specialist included ESG integration, equity analysis and philanthropy. She has been working as an expert in ESG and Sustainable Investment since 2008, including providing advisory research on stewardship implementation for pension funds and family office clients, drafting responsible investment policies and integrating sustainability policies into both active and passive portfolios.
Erin has a background in safety engineering, having worked on the construction of Australia’s first hydrogenation plant. She has spent nearly 10 years in London working across almost every sector, focusing in later years on the financial services and investment sector as a research analyst at an ESG research house and a data specialist with an AI tech-start-up. Erin is the VP of Client Services AsiaPac for Institutional Shareholder Services.
