Billie is a Program Officer with the RAP team at Reconciliation Australia, working with the legal, financial and insurance portfolios. Billie is passionate about creating sustainable policy change in Australia that is inherently inclusive and respectful of First Nations peoples. Prior to joining Reconciliation Australia in 2021, Billie worked with various non-profits in policy, research, and casework, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public policy and development from the University of Queensland in 2020.

Julia Bailey is Head of Advocacy Strategy and a Senior Research Analyst at Melior. She has 17 years’ experience working as both a sell and buy side analyst across a number of sectors at global investment banks and leading fund managers in the UK and Australia. Julia began her career as a European pharmaceutical equity analyst working for Lehman Brothers in London from 2003-2006 before heading to Sydney where she worked in the Australasian Healthcare team at Citi from 2006-2011. She then moved into funds management at Perpetual from 2012-2016 where her coverage included the consumer and energy sectors. Prior to joining Melior, she worked as a consultant across a range of industries.

Julia received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (1st Class Honours) with specialisation in Parasitology from King’s College London

Alan is Managing Principal of Point Advisory’s NSW office based in Sydney. He oversees the firm’s integrated advisory solutions in corporate responsibility and sustainability, including environmental, social and governance risk. With over 25 years of industry and professional services experience, he takes a pragmatic approach to integrating sustainability strategies and risk management into organisations. He works with investors to strengthen their chosen ESG integration and reporting approaches. Alan chairs RIAA’s First Nations Peoples’ Rights Working Group that he helped establish during mid-2020 in the wake of the destruction of shelters at Juukan Gorge and the global Black Lives Matter movement.

Natasha Morris (Director, Responsible Investing of Adamantem)

Natasha has over fifteen years of experience across the social and private sectors in both Australia and the UK. Prior to joining Adamantem Capital, Natasha spent nearly 10 years in the social sector, working across impact investing, operations, strategy and venture philanthropy (at Social Ventures Australia and The Centre for Evidence and Implementation). Prior to that Natasha worked in infrastructure funds management, including deal execution and asset management (at Hastings Funds Management) and project finance (at King & Wood Mallesons in Australia and Norton Rose in the UK).

Natasha holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact from the University of New South Wales.

Peter Morris (General Manager at Reconciliation Australia)

General Manager at Reconciliation Australia

Peter is a passionate non-profit leader with 15 years of international experience in partnership development, communications, and public policy analysis. He has dedicated his career to building a more inclusive society that values and benefits from the resilience and ingenuity of First Peoples.
Since early 2019, Peter has served as the General Manager of the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Program, Reconciliation Australia where he leads a team that works with a network of over 2,200 organisations driving social change across Australia. The RAP network directly impacts over 25 percent of the Australian working age population advancing reconciliation by building relationships, respect, and opportunities between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and the broader community.

Prior to his role at Reconciliation Australia, Peter served for eight years in various leadership roles at the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI), the representative body of tribes and Native peoples in the United States. During his time at NCAI, he led engagement with the Obama White House to implement the annual Tribal Nations Summits, strengthened partnerships with corporate and civil rights organisations, directed a tribally-driven think tank, and oversaw strategic communications and national campaigns.

Peter serves on the advisory committees of Welcoming Cities and Swinburne University’s Centre for Reconciliation Practice. He has served in various staff and board roles in higher education, youth and children’s policy, and community development. He holds a Bachelors in Aboriginal Studies from the University of New South Wales and a Masters in American Indian Policy from the University of Arizona.
