Alexis is a Partner in Mercer’s Wealth business and leads the Responsible Investment team in the Pacific. She works with clients to develop and implement a set of responsible investment beliefs, policies and practices throughout the investment process. This includes integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into the investment process and making use of ownership rights through proxy voting and engagement. She is based in Sydney.

Prior to joining Mercer in April 2014, Alexis spent 10 years in the governance and sustainable investment team at F&C Asset Management in London and Boston. At F&C, Alexis was responsible for developing ESG-integrated investment products, working with portfolio managers across equity, credit and private equity to integrate ESG factors, and engaging with companies on a broad range of issues, including corporate governance, climate change, and human rights.

Alexis is a member of the Sustainable Investment Finance Initiative and co-chairs Technical Working Group 2 on embedding sustainability in financial markets, products and services. In 2017, she was recognised as the Thought Leader of the Year by Women in Finance.

Alexis holds a master of science (politics of the world economy) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK, and a bachelor of arts (political science and religion) from Columbia University, US.

Alison joined Regnan in 2016 with responsibility for managing the engagement program, as well as supporting research and advocacy activities. She has worked in sustainability for over a decade and was formerly the Head of Sustainability at Westpac where she oversaw the development of ESG frameworks and policy. She has been a director of the UN Global Compact’s Australian Network and a member of the AA1000 technical standards committee. Alison has also held roles in corporate strategy in the financial sector and undertaken a number of sustainability consulting projects with leading UK organisations.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resource Management and Marketing, from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Organisational Communication from Charles Sturt University.

John Streur is president and chief executive officer for Calvert Research and Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eaton Vance Management specializing in responsible and sustainable investing across global capital markets. John is also president and a trustee of the Calvert Funds as well as a director of Calvert Impact Capital and member of its Risk Management Committee. He guided the creation of the Calvert Principles for Responsible Investment, the Calvert Research System and the Calvert Indices, and has placed focus on investment research and emphasis on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors integrated with investment decisions. He joined Calvert Research and Management in 2016.

Gabriel joined from Goldman Sachs, Asia, where he was Executive Director, Head of GS SUSTAIN Asia. In this current role, he represents and leads BNPP AM’s stewardship activities in Asia Pacific, including researching key corporate governance issues, undertaking direct and collaborative corporate engagement, and engages with policymakers on key issues relating to sustainable finance and investment. His expertise will be invaluable as BNPP AM continues to reinforce its commitment to Environment, Social and Governance (ESG).

During his 12 years at Goldman Sachs, Gabriel was responsible for leading a team to identify long term investment opportunities in high quality companies, authored research reports on key ESG issues, evaluated the performance of companies under a proprietary ESG scoring framework and focused on improving the performance of major corporations based in the region by incorporating ESG factors into fundamental company valuations.

He began his career as a research analyst for the infrastructure sector at Deutsche Bank and was a consumer sector analyst at Goldman Sachs in Australia prior to joining GS SUSTAIN in Hong Kong.

Gabriel holds a double Bachelor’s degree from The University of Melbourne, majoring in Commerce (Finance and Economics) and Information Systems and is a CFA charterholder.
