Leah, a Torres Strait Islander, is a senior professional with over 25 year’s business and not for profit experience. In this role Leah is leading First Australians Capital in innovating how Indigenous entrepreneurs access support. This includes an ambitious Indigenous-led and managed perpetual impact investment fund which will grow a stable pipeline of Indigenous businesses that are investment-ready. Leah currently serves on several Boards including Co-Chair of First Australians Capital, ex-officio member of the BCA Indigenous Taskforce, Foundations for Young Australians, and a Trustee of The Nature Conservancy (Australia).

Leah has played a pivotal role in national Indigenous affairs as past CEO of Reconciliation Australia; Director of Indigenous Business Australia; Director of Indigenous Engagement and Advancement at the University of Newcastle, a member of the Prime Minister’s Indigenous Advisory Council, a Fellow of the University of Sydney Senate, Chairperson of Supply Nation and Chairperson of Aboriginal Housing Office NSW.

Adam is a proud Aboriginal man and descendant of the Wiradjuri people in central NSW. He is a Non-Executive Director at Social Ventures Australia and a Fulbright Scholar focused on embedding a robust equity standards framework for Indigenous Australians in partnership with major employers.

Adam is one of the pioneers of CareerTrackers and CareerSeekers - where he worked for more than 10-years paving professional career pathways for Indigenous Australians and Asylum Seekers and Refugees with leading employers.

Adam's career and research have shed light on global issues around racial wealth inequality, the lack of diversity in leadership, and how to build sustainable and high-impact non-profits for racial minorities.

Ruby is a descendant of the Jaru people of the Eastern Kimberley region of WA. An electrical engineer, she runs Alinga Energy Consulting, providing renewable energy and microgrid consulting services including research, feasibility studies, design and implementation, with a focus on remote and off-grid applications.

Simon operates at the intersection of economics, finance and sustainability and has extensive international experience as an economic adviser, investment analyst and sustainability consultant across finance, corporate and not for profit sectors.

Simon works with RIAA’s 450+ member organisations with the goal of delivering on RIAA’s mission of promoting, advocating for, and supporting approaches to responsible investment that align capital with achieving a healthy and sustainable society, environment and economy.

Simon is active across the region and internationally in responsible investment and sustainable finance initiatives. He sits as an advisory member to the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute, working group member of the Toitū Tahua Centre for Sustainable Finance, Chair of the Global Sustainable Investment Alliance, as well as a member of the National Advisory Board on Impact Investing in New Zealand.
