Hannah Simons is responsible for our Sustainability Strategy. In this role she works in partnership with our client facing and product teams to deliver a cohesive set of investment options to our clients. She is also responsible for the Sustainability capability

Prior to this she was Head of Fiduciary Management, she was promoted to this role in 2017, having joined Schroders in 2015. This involved providing strategic and liability-led input to clients, with a focus on assisting them to structure solutions that help meet their funding targets.

Hannah was a Fiduciary Partner at Russell Investments from 2013 to 2015, which involved providing total plan solutions to small and medium sized clients.

She was an LDI product specialist at PIMCO from 2011 to 2013, a Solutions Specialist at BlackRock from 2004 to 2011 and an Investment Consultant at Watson Wyatt from 1999 to 2004.

Alex Dunnin is the Executive Director of Research & Compliance at the Rainmaker group, one of Australia’s leading financial services research and digital media companies. Alex is the Rainmaker’s primary researcher, lead analyst and opinion maker.

Alex is a contributing writer across Rainmaker’s mastheads that span trade titles such as the RainmakerLive information platform and Financial Standard, and consumer titles that include SelectingSuper and Money magazine.

Zoltan Nagy (MSCI ESG Research (Australia) Pty Limited)

Zoltán Nagy is an executive director in the Equity Core Research team, and is based in the Budapest office. In this role, he focuses on questions related to the integration of factors and ESG into the equity portfolio management process. Dr Nagy joined MSCI in 2008, and first worked on the development of new index methodologies and on other index related research.
Prior to entering finance, Dr Nagy was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Algarve, Faro, Portugal. His area of research was Quantum Integrable Sytems. He also has several publications in this field.
Dr Nagy holds a PhD degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Cergy-Pontoise, France, and an engineering degree from the Ecole Polytechnique, France. He is also a CFA® charter holder.

Simon O'Connor (CEO of Responsible Investment Association Australasia)

Simon O'Connor

CEO of Responsible Investment Association Australasia

Simon operates at the intersection of economics, finance and sustainability and has extensive international experience as an economic adviser, investment analyst and sustainability consultant across finance, corporate and not for profit sectors.

Simon works with RIAA’s 240 member organisations with the goal of delivering on RIAA’s mission of promoting, advocating for, and supporting approaches to responsible investment that align capital with achieving a healthy and sustainable society, environment and economy.

Simon is active across the region and internationally in responsible investment and sustainable finance initiatives. He sits as Co-Chair of the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative, working group member of the NZ Sustainable Finance Forum, a member of the Global Sustainable Investment Alliance, the UN backed Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) Australia Network Advisory Committee, as well as a member of the National Advisory Board on Impact Investing in New Zealand.
