Lou joined UniSuper in July 2015 as a Manager, Equities covering a range of domestic and international stocks. He has over 26 years experience in equities and financial markets. In 2019, Lou was appointed Manager, Sustainable Portfolios & Governance with responsibility for UniSuper’s Environmental, Social and Governance approach.

Prior to joining UniSuper, Lou was Head of Research at Evans & Partners, a boutique investment and advisory firm. Lou’s previous roles include Director, Australian Equities with BlackRock Investment Management and Partner, Senior Analyst at Goldman Sachs JBWere. He began his career in 1991 at Freehills (now Herbert Smith Freehills), where he qualified as a solicitor in 1992.

Lou holds a BComm and LLB (Hons) from the University of Melbourne, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

Natasha joined Maple-Brown Abbott in 2004 as an equity analyst and was appointed as a portfolio manager in 2011. She has overseen responsible investing since 2008, when Maple-Brown Abbott became a signatory to the UNPRI. Natasha was formally appointed as a dedicated ESG analyst in 2015. She has been instrumental in developing Maple-Brown Abbott’s ESG strategy and the processes for the integration of ESG into the investment decision making process.

Prior to joining Maple-Brown Abbott Natasha worked at JP Morgan Investment Bank as an analyst in the mergers and acquisitions team.

Simon operates at the intersection of economics, finance and sustainability and has extensive international experience as an economic adviser, investment analyst and sustainability consultant across finance, corporate and not for profit sectors.

Simon works with RIAA’s 240 member organisations with the goal of delivering on RIAA’s mission of promoting, advocating for, and supporting approaches to responsible investment that align capital with achieving a healthy and sustainable society, environment and economy.

Simon is active across the region and internationally in responsible investment and sustainable finance initiatives. He sits as Co-Chair of the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative, working group member of the NZ Sustainable Finance Forum, a member of the Global Sustainable Investment Alliance, the UN backed Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) Australia Network Advisory Committee, as well as a member of the National Advisory Board on Impact Investing in New Zealand.
