Head of Equity Research at NorthStar Asset Management

Ivy Jack is head of equity research for NorthStar Asset Management, Inc., a Boston-based wealth management firm that specializes in socially responsible investing through shareholder engagement, impact investing, and selecting publicly traded securities via negative and positive screens. Earlier in her career, Ivy worked on Wall Street where she was a vice president in the equity research department at Barclays Capital (formerly Lehman Brothers). She began her career as an investment banking analyst working at Morgan Stanley.

Ivy sits on the Investment Committee of Ujima, an economic development and community-organizing collective governed by, and grounded in working-class communities of color in Boston. She is also a member of the finance committee of YW Boston, a local organization that is a thought leader on issues at the intersection of race and gender. Finally, she serves on the Board of Governors for the Harvard Business School Association of Boston.

Tama Potaka (CEO of Tribal Trust)

Tama Potaka is from Ngāti Hauiti, Whanganui/Ngāti Rangi, Mōkai-Pātea, Taranaki/Ngāruahine, Ngāti Raukawa/Toa in New Zealand. He is married to Ariana and they have three innovative children – Tiaria, Te Awarua and Aorangi. Tama had an upbringing full of extended whānau (family), education, and Māori rural community life. He went to Te Aute College, Victoria University, and Columbia University and received BA (Māori Studies, Politics), an LLB (First Class Honours) and LLM degrees. Tama practised as a lawyer in New York City and New Zealand, and has governance experience across agribusiness, property, education and Church governance entities. Most recently he was a senior leader at Tainui Group Holdings, and an adviser at the NZ Super Fund. Tama now works as Tumu Kaimahi (CEO) at Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki Trust based in Auckland which has included launching a One Billion Trees programme on Motutapu island in the Waitematā. He and his whānau like to maintain holistic health and wellbeing.

Robynne Quiggin (Professor at UTS Business School)

Professor Robynne Quiggin is a Wiradjuri lawyer who has worked across legal and policy areas of relevance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians including financial services, consumer issues, human rights, governance, rights to culture, heritage and the arts. Robynne has served on the board of Bangarra Dance Theatre, the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) and was formerly a Trustee of the Australian Museum. She currently chairs the Board of the NSW Aboriginal Housing Office chairs Westpac’s Indigenous Advisory Committee, is a member of Westpac’s Stakeholder Advisory group and IAG’s Consumer Advisory Board.

James has been closely involved in the development of native title law and land use policy, and has worked with Indigenous peoples, governments and industry peak bodies in state and Commonwealth land use policy and legislation development. James also worked overseas for many years with major mining companies to advise and consult on international mining and infrastructure land access, resettlement and compensation processes. James is adjunct associate professor at the Law School of the University of NSW.

As ESG Investment Director for Asia Pacific Danielle supports the integration of ESG factors into investment decision-making in Australia and across Asia-Pacific, and advocates for the importance of ESG capabilities with clients and potential clients across the region.
Previously, Danielle was Head of ESG for the Victorian Funds Managed Corporation, and held roles in consulting and superannuation focusing on sustainability investing. Danielle has over 17 years of industry experience, and holds postgraduate qualifications in sustainability and finance.
